I made this video on Oct. 4, 2010 the day before my microdiscectomy. This is a fairly lengthy video but I managed to squeeze 15 year story into 7 minutes. I injured myself in 1996, 2005, 2006, and Feb 2009. I became pregnant a few months after my Feb 2009 injury putting more strain on an already weak back. In September 2009, I complained to my OB that my back pain was getting worse. After my daughter was born I continued to worsen until my surgery in Oct. 2010. Between Feb 2009 and Sept 2009 my condition improved slightly and then deteriorated slowly. By July 2010, I sought help from my primary care doctor. In mid September 2010 I noticed after physical therapy that I was losing strength in my right foot and my pain was increasing daily. Surgery was my only option left. I included my personal MRI images at the end of the last clip.
